About Kim Hall
Kim Hall is a lifelong educator, community leader, small business owner, and leadership consultant who is deeply committed to the future of Cullman. Now a candidate for Place 5 on the Cullman City Council, Kim brings over three decades of proven leadership and a passion for public service to the table. Her campaign is grounded in faith, family, and a forward-thinking vision for smart growth, transparency, and a vibrant future for all who call Cullman home.
A proud graduate of Cullman High School, Kim understands firsthand the values that define this community. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Athens State University, a master’s degree from the University of Alabama, and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of North Alabama. Throughout her 30+ year career in education, Kim served in various roles within Cullman City Schools, including as principal of Cullman High School. Her work extended beyond the classroom when she transitioned into a statewide and national role as a school improvement and leadership consultant—helping shape stronger schools and more effective educational leaders.
Kim’s heart for service is reflected in her extensive community involvement. She is a graduate of the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Cullman program and was honored as the United Way Loaned Executive of the Year. She has served on the Cullman City Schools Foundation Board and is a recipient of the Cullman Fine Arts Legacy Award. In 2024, Kim became a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach, and she currently serves as Director of Leadership Development for Bailey Education Group, where she equips school leaders with the tools to succeed and inspire others.
Through every chapter of her career, Kim has been driven by a single purpose: to strengthen the communities she serves. As a candidate for Cullman City Council, she is ready to bring her leadership experience, collaborative spirit, and deep community ties to work for the people of Cullman. Her vision is clear: smart growth, transparent leadership, and a city where every voice matters.
